Managing Widget Properties

Overview

The properties tab allows users to quickly and easily configure custom properties for a selected widget.

Access to the widget properties feature is granted via the properties tab of the widget editor. The following is a sample layout, using the Media Zone widget as an example:

The individual properties are laid out in the form of a table, with the property name under the Key column and it’s corresponding value under the Value column. The top left-hand corner of the layout displays the total number of properties that are assigned to this widget.

The Edit button on the far-right of the table allows users to quickly add, edit or delete existing properties. When the Edit button is clicked, two additional buttons appear:

  • Add New Property – Allows users to add a new custom property and it’s value right from within the page.
  • Finish – Allows users finish editing the widget’s properties.
