Managing VOD Applications
Overview
The VOD Apps tab allows users to create, customize and manage the collection of VOD applications. A VOD app is required to be defined by the user before it can be bound to a VOD player device. One VOD app can be bound to multiple VOD player devices, but not the other way round.
This guide will elaborate on the steps to create, customize and manage the collection of VOD applications.
Creating New VOD Applications
Step 1
From the Apps tab within the VOD extension, click the + button to create a new VOD application.
Step 2
Fill in the title and description of the VOD application then proceed to select a theme and add subscriptions to the VOD application.
Note
Upon selecting a theme from the drop-down, the preview will display the theme. To preview the theme in full, click the eyebutton at the top right corner.
Step 3
Additionally, you can allow unregistered devices to stream your VOD by enabling the Public URL option.
Editing VOD Applications
Step 1
From the Apps tab within the VOD extension, click the VOD application you intend to edit.
Step 2
Edit any property or subscription and click Save.
Deleting VOD Applications
Step 1
From the Apps tab within the VOD extension, select the tick box the VOD application you intend to delete.
Step 2
Click the delete icon.
Step 3
On the confirmation screen, click OK.
