Registering Extensions

Introduction

This guide details the steps to register a custom extension with an Appspace instance.

Prerequisite

  • Extension Manager Advanced

Registering An Extension On Appspace

  1. Login to Appspace as a user with Portal Administrator role. Click the extensions drop-down menu on the top-left of the Appspace Dashboard. Click System > Extensions.

  2. From the Extensions page, click the Install button.

  3. In the Create New Extension page, click the Browse button and select the extension zip package. Click on the Upload button to import the extension package into Appspace.

  4. In the Extension Details page, review the details of the extension package and click the Save button to register the extension.

  5. Click the User icon on the top-right of your dashboard, and click Sign Out.

  6. Login to Appspace with your normal user credentials. Click the extensions drop-down menu on the top-left of the Appspace Dashboard. You will now see the installed extension listed (provided you have the required Roles as defined by the extension).
