This release note describes the new major build for Appspace App v1.12.

New Features and Enhancements

General

  • Improvements to the layout when viewing channels in full screen; thumbnails will be displayed in 16:9 aspect ratio, with adjusted margins and paddings.
  • Live streams channel group has been moved to the last position in the side menu, and home screen.

BrightSign

  • Support for portrait display orientation in Interactive Mode.
    • The Display.Rotation property supported values are 0, 90, 270.
    • When defined, the Display.Rotation property will be applied to both Signs and Interactive Mode.
    • If the property is removed, the device maintains the last rotation value.
    • The Display.Rotation property does not take effect during a live channel update.

    • When defined, the Display.Rotation property will be applied to both Signs and Interactive Mode.
    • If the property is removed, the device maintains the last rotation value.
    • The Display.Rotation property does not take effect during a live channel update.

Resolved Escalations

  • AE-3121 - The “Unable to Retrieve MachineID” error message is displayed when registering Appspace App on BrightSign XT243.
  • AE-3111 - Delayed timing of more than 10000 milliseconds on the Media Zone widget does not function on the Appspace App.
