Appspace and LogiDock Flex now integrate to simplify hybrid workspace reservations. Users can seamlessly book desks, meeting rooms, and shared spaces directly through Appspace, leveraging LogiDock Flex’s smart docking features. Real-time availability and automated check-ins help optimize workspace utilization and boost productivity. Personalized settings ensure employees have access to their preferred devices and configurations for an enhanced hybrid work experience.

This article provides administrators with instructions for installing and configuring LogiDock Flex.

Prerequisite

  • An Account Owner user role with the Platform User license assigned.
  • An active Appspace account, with sufficient device licenses to register the device.
  • Account Owner or Location Admin user roles with sufficient platform licenses.
  • To integrate LogiDock Flex, the minimum required version for the Appspace app is 2.78, and for the Desk Booking card, it is version 1.35.

     

Install LogiDock Flex

The instructions below to install LogiDock Flex.

  1. Log in to your Appspace console.
  2. Select the ☰ Appspace menu, and click Devices > Settings > App Downloads tabs.
  3. Download the Appspace Logi Dock Flex Desktop file. 
  4. Install the app on your machine.
    Note
    The installation process for the Appspace Desktop Agent app differs slightly between Mac and Windows. For Windows, after downloading the Appspace Logi Dock Flex Desktop zip file, you will need to extract it. The application will start automatically. You can find the Appspace Desktop Agent listed under Control Panel > Apps > Installed Apps, as well as a shortcut on your desktop.
  5. You will see a pop-up message saying, “Appspace Desktop Agent is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” Click Open.
  6. Once completed, the Appspace Desktop Agent  app may appear on the taskbar.
  7. Click on the app to log in using your email and password.
    Note
    Once you log in, you will see a notification asking whether to allow or don’t allow Agent Desktop Notifications to receive alerts, sounds, and icon badges.
