FEATURE UPDATES
SharePoint Card Now Available for All Users
The SharePoint card, which has been on limited release, is now available to all users. This release of the SharePoint card provides a seamless connection between Appspace and Microsoft SharePoint, allowing organizations to publish SharePoint News on connected Appspace Digital Signage devices within the workplace.
The following features and improvements are available in this release of the SharePoint card:
- When creating a SharePoint Card, the default title is set to “News” to maintain consistency with SharePoint sites.
- Enhanced support for special characters on Sharepoint site addresses.
- Design choices have been simplified to align with general design standards and guidelines.
- Various improvements have been made to enhance the stability and performance of the SharePoint card.

FEATURE UPDATES
In this Limited Release of the SharePoint card, organizations will have the ability to publish one or more SharePoint News across Appspace Digital Signage.
The following features and capabilities are available in this release of the SharePoint card:
- Support for the Sharepoint Passport.
- Ability to display Site Collections or a Single Article via a SharePoint URL.
- Supported content types:
- News Posts.
- News Links.
- Video News Posts and Links.
- Supported content types:
- Ability to display the following SharePoint Display Layouts:
- Single Article – A single post is displayed on screen, while transitioning to the next post.
- Gallery – A single post is displayed on screen, while a preview carousel of upcoming posts is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Technical Limitations and Workarounds

- Nexus Player skips the SharePoint Card in Advanced Channels on Channel Browsing mode
When using Channel Browsing mode in Advanced Channels, the SharePoint Card may be skipped during playback on Nexus Player devices. In Direct Assigned mode, SharePoint Cards play normally in Advanced Channels on the Nexus Player.

- Nexus Players and Seneca Linux devices skip the SharePoint Card with Site Collection
SharePoint cards are skipped during playback in multi-zone channels on Nexus Player and Seneca Linux devices. This issue only happens when the content source is selected as “Site Collection”.
- Nexus Players and Seneca Linux devices skip the SharePoint Card with Site Collection
- LG WebOS 3.0 C does not render the SharePoint Card as expected
UI elements of the SharePoint Card are not correctly displayed during playback on devices with LG WebOS 3.0 C.
