New Releases and Support Schedule

Appspace releases a new version of the Device app regularly to support new features, enhancements, and security updates. When a new version is released, the support window is adjusted accordingly.

This policy shall be in effect as of January 1, 2025.

Support Window

Appspace provides active support for the Appspace Device app on a rolling 6-month window. This means that at any given time, Appspace actively supports the latest app version and any version released within the last 6 months.

Example: 6-Month Rolling Support Window

  • New Release: The new version of the Appspace device app (version 2.79.0) is released in January 2025.
  • Supported Versions: From January 1st to July 1st, 2025, Appspace will actively support version 2.79.0 and any versions released in the previous 6 months (versions released from July 2024 to December 2024).
  • End of Support: After July 1st, 2025, versions released before July 2024 will no longer be actively supported.

Enforcement

This policy will be enforced beginning July 1, 2025. After this date, Appspace may require devices to be running a supported app version to access certain features or functionality.

Support and Updates

When contacting Appspace Support with an issue on an app version older than 6 months, the initial step will be to update your device to a supported version, ideally the most recent release. This ensures your device has the latest fixes and improvements, potentially resolving the issue without further troubleshooting.

Appspace focuses its development and maintenance efforts on the most recent app version. Bug fixes and updates are applied exclusively to the latest release. Older app versions are not patched retroactively.
