Local Health Conditions Card Release Notes

These release notes provide information on the new features, enhancements, resolved escalations, and bug fixes completed in each release for the Local Health Conditions card, which is also an Appspace supported card.

For each release, the updates are pushed to the card template in the Library. Cards created prior to the latest release will not receive the latest updates. To get the latest feature or bug fix for this card, the card must be recreated with the latest template.

The Local Health Conditions card allows organizations to display UV, Pollen, or Air Quality Indexes for the selected location, ensuring employees are aware of current local health conditions.

The following features and customizations are available on the Local Health Conditions card:

  • Display the UV, Pollen, or Air Quality Index based on 5 health condition levels, and action required for a specific location, with data being updated every 30 mins. Below are the following 5 health condition levels:
    • Level 1 – Low – Green
    • Level 2 – Moderate –  Yellow
    • Level 3 – High – Orange
    • Level 4 – Very High – Red
    • Level 5 – Extreme – Purple
  • Display the location name of the selected location the indexes are taken from.
  • Ability to customize the Local Health Conditions card in both Light or Dark themes, and also a Dynamic theme which utilizes a different color scheme based on current health condition levels, allowing for quicker identification.
  • Ability to customize for organization branding by adding a logo on the card.
  • The card template has been assigned with the “Safety & Compliance” default content category.
  • The card template has been assigned with the following tags:
    • FEED
    • HEALTH

Technical Limitations & Workaround

All Devices

  • The Local Health Conditions card may take up to 10 seconds during the initial load in the playlist channel or advanced channel. However, subsequent loading durations during playlist channel rotations would be as per normal.
  • The Local Health Conditions card will not display when allocated to an Advanced Channel, with the device set to Channel Browsing mode.
  • Certain devices may display minor UI issues, such as incorrect text sizes (too small), alignment issues, or overlapping of text.
