The Story Carousel is a feature which allows the latest Stories created by date to be shown in a news slider on top of the Newsfeed or in discovery cards as seen on the Start Page.
Once a story has been published and within the News All items page, a writer can have his Story featured in the Carousel Newsfeed by having an Editor activate the “Feature” button within the All Items page.
This is also possible to do during the Story creation process if the user has Editor rights where by clicking on the Ellipsis will provide options to Comment, Like, Delete and Feature Story the later of which activate its appearance in the Carousel.
