Newsfeeds are, by design, ephemeral. Content flows as new content is shared, and sometimes it can be difficult for users to find something that was previously shared.
Bookmarks allow users to keep content at hand for easy retrieval.
Users can bookmark things by clicking on the three dots ••• icon in any content card.
Users can then easily find the list of their bookmarked items (chronologically ordered) in their startpage newsfeed.
