Network Requirements
Please ensure your local network that hosts the Appspace on-prem server is configured as per the requirements listed below to ensure a seamless and secure content delivery.
Configure your network, firewall, or proxy servers to allow access to the sites and ports listed below to ensure all registered devices and users on an Appspace on-prem server have uninterrupted access to Appspace Cloud, necessary for licensing, content, and system updates.
HTTPS
- HTTPS is required for communications. Download and install a valid SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate for the Appspace on-prem server. Refer to the How to Set Up SSL on IIS 10 instructions here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/manage/configuring-security/how-to-set-up-ssl-on-iis
- Configure the DNS (Domain Name Server) with an FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name).
- TLS 1.2 is required for communications.
