Getting started with Appspace


Follow these quick steps to get started with setting up your content, networks, users, and devices in Appspace Cloud.

Before you begin, please read the following articles: Supported web browsers, Supported devices, Appspace App requirements, and Supported media player comparison.


Setting Up Appspace

Important

Some of the instructions below need administrative privileges. Refer to the user roles privileges or individual articles for more information.

Follow the instructions below to get started:

  1. Create an account with Appspace.
  2. Activate your Appspace Cloud account.
  3. Log in to Appspace Cloud.
  4. Create folders and upload content to the Library. Please refer to articles in the Library section.
  5. Create user groups and invite users. Please refer to articles in the Users section.
  6. Create and organize your network and permissions. Please refer to the Managing networks article.
  7. Configure your devices. Select your device according to the supported operating environment.
  8. Register your devices. Please refer to the Registering a device with the Appspace App article.
  9. Create media player groups and add registered media players to the groups. Please refer to Managing Media Player Groups.
  10. Create a sign.
  11. Create a channel.
  12. Assign a default channel to your network, or assign a channel to a media player.
  13. View your channel on your TV.
